High-Profile Loans and Returns
Darwin Nunez, who moved to Al-Hilal in 2025 for £45m after Liverpool recouped part of his £85m fee, has now joined Al-Diriyah on loan. The 28-year-old has struggled to find form in Saudi Arabia.
Christopher Nkunku, who scored just six Premier League goals in two years at Chelsea following a £52m switch from RB Leipzig, is returning to his former club on loan with an option to buy from AC Milan. The 28-year-old Frenchman joined Milan from the Blues in 2025 for £35m.

Dominik Livakovic has joined Barcelona for £2m as backup to Joan Garcia. The 31-year-old Croat starred for Dinamo Zagreb before joining Fenerbahce in 2023, with loan spells at Girona and back in Zagreb in between.
Mattia Perin, who played 70 times in eight years at Juventus, has joined Palermo to become No.1 in a £343,000 deal.
Former Liverpool Players Find New Homes
Fabinho has joined Trabzonspor on a free transfer from Al Ittihad, following his former Reds team-mate Mohamed Salah to Turkey. Alberto Moreno has also moved, joining second-tier Spanish outfit Mallorca from Como.
Calvin Ramsay's loan switch to St Mirren has gone under the radar, with the 23-year-old heading out on his fifth loan spell in three years as Liverpool continue to hold out hope he can make the grade.
