We are past halfway in Royal Ascot week and our tipping ace has four more value picks from the seven-race card including a lively tip in the Commonwealth Cup.
Coppull (3.05) – Commonwealth Cup
Lay down the law by supporting a Cop in the Commonwealth Cup. COPPULL (3.05) has all the tools required to land this Group 1 sprint for three-year-olds. He ran a cracker at this meeting 12 months ago when third behind subsequent Classic winner Gstaad in the Coventry Stakes. His defeat of top-level winner Puerto Rico in the Richmond Stakes at Glorious Goodwood was even better and it marked him down as one of last year's top sprinting juveniles. Clive Cox's speedster almost underlined that view when narrowly beaten into third in the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket in a race that didn't really play to his strengths. Ascot suits him much better, as he showed when landing the Commonwealth Cup Trial over this course and distance last month. It's hard to see how he won't be involved. Have 1pt each-way at 14-1. Sky Bet is paying out on five places.
Omni Man (3.40) – Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes
It's been a good week for Joseph O'Brien and it might well get even better in the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes. His OMNI MAN (3.40) was an excellent fifth in the King George V Stakes at this meeting last year despite getting tightened up early in the straight. The winner of that race, Merchant, went on to land a Group 3 later in the season and it looked a very strong race. His trainer has kept him to shorter distances this season. He even tried him over 1m in a Leopardstown Listed race and he will be far happier returned to 1m4f. Have 1pt each-way at 14-1. A couple of firms are offering six places.
Green Carrera (5.00) – Sandringham Stakes
O'Brien also has a good chance of landing the Sandringham Stakes with GREEN CARRERA (5.00). She kicked off this season with a solid second over 7f at the Curragh and she appreciated the return to 1m when successful back at the home of Irish Flat racing last month. There's a case for saying she got to the front a bit soon and this big-field handicap should set up perfectly for her. Have 1pt each-way at 20-1. Sky Bet go seven places.
Simplify (6.10) – Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes
SIMPLIFY (6.10) has the speed for the Palace Of Holyroodhouse. Her winning streak might have come to an end at York last month but that second behind Dickensian in a Listed contest was even better than her three previous wins. There's more to come. Have 1pt each-way at 18-1. Plenty of firms are offering six places.
