Play was stopped for the day last night due to the courts being too slippery from the rain, with Donna Vekic's match against Marie Bouzkova halted while the Croatian led 6-5 in the first set.
Serena Williams' doubles campaign in jeopardy
Another story out of Queen's is that Serena Williams' doubles campaign could be wrecked by a horrible injury. Williams and Canadian Victoria Mboko teamed up to beat Erin Routliffe and Nicole Melichar-Martinez in straight sets on Tuesday. It was the American legend's first match in 1,375 days, but a horror fall for Mboko last night which caused her to retire from her singles match means she may be forced to pull out of the doubles.
