Andrew Balding's daughter of Blue Point has shown significant improvement at age four this season, following a win in Goodwood's Listed Conqueror Fillies' Stakes with a length-and-three-quarter margin of victory in Royal Ascot's Group 2 Duke Of Cambridge Stakes. Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes
Two days after Blue Bolt's success, Libertango lifted the Group 3 Albany Stakes on the royal heath, and George Boughey's filly deserves her hotpot status for the Group 2 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes (2.25). Newsboy expects her to continue her winning form.
Betway Trophy
Similarly, it's hard to get away from Wine Dark Sea, whose 6lb penalty for a 13-length stroll in Carlisle's Cumberland Plate 16 days ago still leaves him 11lb well in for the Betway Trophy (3.00). He is a strong selection for that race.
Newmarket Opening Handicap
Princling heads the market for Newmarket's opening Oddschecker Handicap (1.50), but the value may lie with Heraldry, who is trying the handicap sphere and 10 furlongs for the first time. Newsboy recommends Heraldry as a value bet.
