The self-proclaimed Living Nostradamus has revealed his prediction for the 2026 World Cup winner. Athos Salomé, a Brazilian-born psychic, correctly forecast the outcomes of both Euro 2024 and the 2022 World Cup. His previous accurate predictions included an England vs Spain final for Euro 2024 and a France vs Argentina showdown in the last World Cup. He also foresaw the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Salomé's Vision for 2026
Speaking to the Express, Salomé indicated that Spain, the team that defeated England in the Euro 2024 final, will triumph again. He described visions of red and orange colors, which he associated with teams like Spain and Portugal. While England, Portugal, and Morocco were on his shortlist, Spain emerged as the statistical favorite.
Salomé explained: "There is red. A great deal of red or orange. I see heavy, deep, dominant colours. Colours of fire. It is an energy of heat, friction and intense force." He noted that surviving teams would be those wrapped in flame-like colors.

Salomé's predictions align with bookmakers and analysts, but he claims his guidance comes from world events rather than statistics. He said: "The major bookmakers and mathematical models point directly to Spain as the team to beat, followed closely by an exceptionally deep French side and an England squad reaching its peak." He added that Portugal and a restructured Brazil are also contenders.
