Kylian Mbappe announced himself as a rising star that day, and then once more in Qatar, with a stunning hat-trick. His efforts and individual brilliance, however, went in vain, with France usurped from their throne.
Now, they begin a new campaign, hoping to go one better than last time. Their squad suggests that they are well-equipped to do that, with perhaps the most frightening attack of the tournament, including the Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele, Michael Olise, Bradley Barcola, Desire Doue and Mbappe himself.
