Commonwealth Games 2026 Medal Table: Glasgow

The 23rd Commonwealth Games are taking place in Glasgow between 23 July and 2 August. There are 74 Commonwealth Games Associations eligible to compete, all of whom are expected to send athletes to the championships.

Medals and Events

Medals will be available in 215 events, spread across 10 sports. Six of them include Para sport competition: 3x3 basketball, athletics, bowls, cycling, swimming and weightlifting. The other four sports are artistic gymnastics, boxing, judo and netball.

Top Nations

Australia topped the medal table in Birmingham four years ago, thanks to a 179-medal haul that included 67 golds. They were followed by England, Canada, India and New Zealand in the standings, with these nations taking the top five spots in the competition’s all-time medal table in the same order. They are likely to be among the most dominant once again.

The table is sorted by number of gold medals, then silvers and then bronzes, rather than by the overall total. Hosts Scotland will hope to improve on the 13 gold medals they collected in 2022.
