Antonelli Tightens Grip on F1 Title with Sprint Win
Kimi Antonelli has strengthened his hold on the Formula One championship after winning Saturday's sprint race at the British Grand Prix. The title leader overtook home favorite Lewis Hamilton, who started from pole position, extending his advantage over Mercedes teammate George Russell to 43 points. Despite the gap, Hamilton insists he is not focused on securing a record eighth world title. However, the seven-time champion is expected to aim for another home victory on Sunday. Hamilton holds the record for most wins at a single Grand Prix with nine victories at Silverstone.
