Carlos Alcaraz's Paris Masters quarter-final against Taylor Fritz was briefly interrupted when a ball girl fell at the side of the court.
Fritz was serving under pressure at 2-2 (30-30) when the ball kid ran back to the corner to take her position but appeared to lose her footing and dropped to the court. Photographers and other staff in the corner moved quickly to assist her.
Players rush to help
Fritz was straight over to check on the ball girl, while Alcaraz crossed the net to see if she was alright. The incident caused a short stoppage in play before the match resumed.
The match continued after the brief delay, with both players showing concern for the young ball kid's wellbeing.
