Red Arrows Return to Southport Airshow 2026: Full Lineup
Red Arrows Return to Southport Airshow 2026

The Red Arrows are confirmed to appear at Southport Airshow 2026, marking their return after an absence from the 2025 event. The iconic RAF display team is scheduled to perform on both days of the show, which takes place on the seafront on Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30.

Thousands of aviation fans are expected to head to the Merseyside coast for the annual event. Spectators can watch an array of impressive aircraft, including the RAF Typhoon, the Hawk T1, and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Other acts include the Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers, the Strikemaster Display Team, and more.

Display Times and Ground Attractions

Entry opens at 10am across the weekend, with displays running from around 12pm to 5pm. Car parking opens at 9am. Exact timings for the Red Arrows are yet to be confirmed, but they are expected to appear between 3.25pm and 4pm on both days.

Unlike other seaside airshows, many displays take place over the beach rather than over the water, due to the vast expanse of sand. On the ground, there are activities for children including bungee trampolines, bumper cars, and classic games like Hook-a-Duck. Aviation fans can get close to replica planes and try flight simulators.

Full Aircraft Lineup

The Military Village on Marine Drive will host equipment displays from the Armed Forces, with members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, and local Air Cadets on hand. The full lineup of aircraft includes the BBMF Dakota, Spitfire and Hurricane, RAF Tutor T1, Jet Pitts with Rich Goodwin, AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers, The Starlings Display Team, Strikemaster Display Team, Gazelle Squadron, Hawk T1, Otto the Helicopter, A26 Invader, and P-51 Mustang 'Jersey Jerk'.
