England players kicked back at their hotel in Kansas City ahead of their World Cup quarter-final with Norway on Saturday night. The Three Lions received huge plaudits following their win over Mexico, which has been hailed as one of the greatest tournament wins ever.

Historic Victory Over Mexico

Despite taking on the co-hosts in their Azteca Stadium stronghold, Thomas Tuchel's side were able to overcome the home side, the altitude, and being down a man. England were deservedly given two days off after their exploits in the Azteca and have been enjoying some downtime.

Harry Kane scored from the spot against Mexico to put him on seven for the tournament, but after wild scenes of celebration, he confessed that the squad needed to come back down emotionally before facing Norway. "The connection with everyone is even stronger now and we feel that more than ever. We recover now, we calm down, we have a couple of days relaxing and then obviously get prepared for a massive quarter-final."
