Ollie Hassell-Collins, the London Irish wing, is on the verge of making his England debut at the age of 24 after being named in Steve Borthwick's wider Six Nations squad. Hassell-Collins, who was previously selected by Eddie Jones but did not earn a cap, is in contention to face Scotland at Twickenham on Saturday. 'I'm definitely confident I can make the step up, 100 per cent,' he told Sportsmail. 'An England debut would be massive. You dream of that moment for a long time.'
Off the pitch, Hassell-Collins is a Harry Potter super fan with a Golden Snitch tattoo and a love of fashion. He also walks his three cats — Betsy, Albus and Marmalade — with his partner Eloise. On the field, he has impressed England's coaching staff with his defensive work, including a crucial tackle on Saracens' Jackson Wray in December.
Hassell-Collins is expected to join Leicester Tigers next season, a move influenced by Borthwick, who was Tigers head coach until last month.
