Former England rugby captain Chris Robshaw has made the difficult decision to step away from the sport he dedicated his life to, revealing the heartbreaking family reason behind his absence from the rugby scene.
A Husband's Priority
The 37-year-old sports star, who earned 66 caps for England and captained the national side 43 times, has chosen to put his family first during an incredibly challenging period. Robshaw and his wife, Camilla Kershaw, have been navigating a particularly difficult pregnancy that demanded his full attention and presence.

"It's been a really tough time," Robshaw shared in an emotional interview. "Camilla has had an awful pregnancy - she's been really, really poorly. When your wife is going through something like that, you have to be there."
The former Harlequins flanker explained that watching his wife suffer through severe pregnancy symptoms made his career decisions straightforward, despite his deep love for rugby. "Seeing the mother of your child struggling puts everything into perspective," he revealed.

"We're through the worst of it now," Robshaw expressed with relief. "Camilla is doing much better, and we're just enjoying this special time together as a family."
