What to watch for

Kansas City have dominated this rivalry since the 2015 season, winning 18 of the teams' last 22 contests. The Chiefs are favored again this week, though by less than a touchdown.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is coming off the worst season of his career, which ended early due to a torn ACL. He now looks accurate and unusually spry. He is also benefiting from the arrival of running back Kenneth Walker, the league's leading rusher with 360 yards in his first three games with the Chiefs. His 5.8 yards per touch are a career best.

The Raiders' greatest strength so far has been their pass rush. Only the Vikings have generated more pressures than Vegas, according to Pro Football Reference. Maxx Crosby has 13 of those pressures and two of the Raiders' 10 sacks, a total that places them tied for fourth in the league.

Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins, at 38, has averaged at least 7.5 yards per pass attempt in each of the team's three wins, two of which came on the road. The Raiders have benefited from a light opening schedule, taking advantage of games against the Dolphins and Saints.
