Ferrari Reveals Stunning Blue Livery for Italian GP Tribute

In a breathtaking departure from their iconic Rosso Corsa, Scuderia Ferrari has unveiled a stunning blue livery for this weekend's Italian Grand Prix at the legendary Monza circuit. The special design is a profound tribute, marking the 10th anniversary of the passing of Piero Ferrari, the beloved son of the team's legendary founder, Enzo Ferrari.

The SF-24 single-seaters of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will be adorned in the deep 'Azurro La Plata' blue, a colour deeply woven into the fabric of Ferrari's storied history. This particular shade was the original colour of the city of Modena's coat of arms and famously featured on the very first car to bear the Ferrari name, the 125 S.

Team Principal Fred Vasseur called the gesture a "small tribute" to Piero, who was the Vice Chairman of the company and a constant, revered presence within the Maranello outfit until his death in 2014. The livery is not merely a paint job; it's a powerful symbol of the team's enduring soul and a nod to the family that started it all.

Beyond the visual spectacle, the entire team will be kitted out in special blue-branded race suits and caps. The drivers' helmets will also feature unique designs incorporating the blue theme, creating a cohesive and striking visual identity for the weekend.

Ferrari fans, the passionate 'Tifosi', who will pack the Monza grandstands, are in for a spectacular sight. The team hopes this emotional homage will provide an extra boost for drivers Leclerc and Sainz as they battle for a coveted victory on home soil, a feat that has eluded the team since 2019.
