F1 Brazilian GP: Leclerc says Hamilton frustrations settled

Charles Leclerc has said that frustrations with Lewis Hamilton were aired during a Thursday meeting with Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur, and that the matter is now fully settled ahead of the Brazilian Grand Prix.

Speaking after Friday's two free practice sessions at Interlagos in Sao Paulo, Leclerc said: "I think discussing whatever is left, or whatever frustration is left, was needed. Now I feel it's fully settled, and I don't think we should be speaking about it too much going forward."

The Monegasque driver added that the talks were positive, noting that the week had been personally significant for him. "It was really good to discuss all together. Obviously, for me, it's been a bit of a crazy week, and positively, because I became a father for the first time, so we didn't necessarily have time to discuss," he said.

Verstappen fumes at Stroll in FP1

On the track, Max Verstappen was left frustrated with Lance Stroll during the first free practice session after the Aston Martin driver appeared to break an unwritten paddock rule. The four-time world champion was practising a launch off the line after taking the chequered flag when Stroll's car appeared on the right of his Red Bull.

Verstappen asked over the team radio: "What is that Aston doing? He's just overtaking." His race engineer Tom Hart replied: "Yeah, saw that, Max, not sure what he's up to."

FP3 and qualifying ahead

Live coverage of the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend continues, with a third and final free practice session scheduled for 2pm GMT. Lando Norris and Kimi Antonelli topped the first two sessions, with George Russell also pushing on in FP2.

Attention will then turn to qualifying this evening, with three different drivers having taken pole since Verstappen went back-to-back at Bahrain and Singapore.
