The British Grand Prix is set to take place from July 3 to July 5 at Silverstone, with the Sprint race returning to the iconic circuit for the first time in over two decades. Drivers including Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and Lando Norris will compete in the 52-lap main event on Sunday, July 5.
Key Details of the Weekend
Hamilton, who has won a record nine times at Silverstone, last triumphed at the circuit in 2024 while driving for Mercedes before moving to Ferrari in 2025. He enters the weekend after finishing fifth at the Austrian Grand Prix, while fellow Brit George Russell secured pole position there. Red Bull's Verstappen, currently seventh in the standings, comes off a runner-up finish in Austria.
Norris, winner of the 2025 British GP after securing pole, will aim to defend his title. The weekend also marks the first Sprint race at Silverstone in 21 years, scheduled for 12pm on Saturday, July 4. Dry conditions are expected with temperatures around the mid-20s Celsius.
