Jaume Munar called the supervisor to the court during an unusual first-round clash at the US Open, as his opponent, Terence Atmane, struggled to serve after physical problems set in.
Atmane's physical struggles
Atmane took the first two sets 7-6 6-3, but struggled early in the third, receiving treatment from the physio in the middle of a game for what seemed to be a leg issue. The Frenchman appeared to be cramping and could barely serve as the set went on.
Trailing 1-2, left-handed Atmane started serving with his right arm. He didn't win another game in the third set, hitting underarm serves on his way to losing it 6-1.
Munar's complaints
Atmane took an off-court bathroom break ahead of the fourth set, while Munar continued complaining to the umpire, seemingly about his opponent's mid-game medical timeout earlier on, and the amount of time Atmane was taking in between points.
