Mason Mount was forced off early during Manchester United's pre-season friendly against Paris Saint-Germain, sparking fresh injury concerns for the Red Devils.
The 27-year-old lasted less than 20 minutes in Gothenburg before pulling up and being substituted for Tyler Fletcher. He was seen limping off the pitch and then held a lengthy conversation with United's medical team before heading down the tunnel for further assessment.
Another setback for Mount
This is the latest in a series of setbacks for the attacking midfielder, who has made just 72 appearances for United since joining from Chelsea in 2023.
The injury comes on the eve of the new Premier League campaign, adding to the pressure on the club as they prepare for the season opener.
