Royal Ascot 2026 racing results in full from Day Four as Aidan O'Brien enjoyed a stunning day. The brilliant Ballydoyle trainer landed another double as fabulous Friday at the big meeting ended with a dramatic finale.

Aidan O'Brien's Superb Day

Aidan O'Brien enjoyed another superb day at Royal Ascot as he landed major prizes on a fabulous Friday which ended in dramatic fashion. The Ballydoyle handler had taken his overall career tally for the meeting to 100 winners when Scandinavia won the Gold Cup on Thursday. O'Brien wasted no time in adding to the tally and nudged his winning number up to 102 with a Friday double courtesy of Precise, who won the Group 1, and Causeway.

Once again, son Joseph was also on the board again as Green Carerra won and there was also success for the home team with Libertango scoring in the opener for George Boughey, Venetian Sun for Karl Burke and Opportunity for William Haggas.

Dramatic Finale

It was Stars and Stripes to finish the day as the well-backed Bacio flew past the post in front in the finale for American trainer Wesley Ward, but connections were made to wait for confirmation of the triumph. Initially, there was a concern over the result due to a potential weight issue with jockey Juan Hernandez. However, the situation was cleared up as being down to some missing equipment the US raider deservedly kept success after the position was clarified.
