The draw for the league phase of the 2026/27 Champions League takes place this evening in Nyon, Switzerland, with all 36 teams learning their eight opponents.
Under the new UEFA format, each club will face two teams from each of the four pots, playing four matches at home and four away between September and January.
Premier League representation
Manchester United return to the competition for the first time since the 2023/24 season, when they were eliminated in the group stage under then-manager Erik ten Hag. They are one of five Premier League clubs in the draw.
Champions Arsenal, who lost last year's final on penalties to Paris Saint-Germain, are joined by domestic cup double winners Manchester City. Europa League winners Aston Villa also qualified through a fourth-place league finish, while Liverpool secured their place with a fifth-placed finish.
Draw format and timing
The 36 teams are divided into four pots of nine. Each team is drawn to face two opponents from each pot, including their own, with one game at home and one away.
The UEFA ceremony begins at 5pm, with the draw expected to start around 5.30pm.
