Daily Star chief tipster Jason Heavey has picked Sunny Orange (2.45) as his next best bet at Pontefract on Wednesday, with Uppercase (4.45) as the nap selection.
Sunny Orange can shine at Pontefract
Sunny Orange, a six-year-old trained by Tim Easterby, has finished within half a length on both of his last two starts at Beverley since being stepped up to a mile and a quarter. The Expert Eye gelding remains on a rating of 59 and could improve for those runs, scoring for the first time since April under Tim's son Tom.
Uppercase nap selection
Uppercase, a four-year-old by Showcasing, has been progressive in recent weeks. Trained by Harry Eustace, he opened his account at Catterick in June and followed up at Epsom, beating Cherry Cobbler by more than three lengths. Despite a 7lb rise in a more competitive race, a drop to six furlongs and the in-form Kaiya Fraser in the saddle should see him up to the task.
Other selections
At Brighton, Buckland Belle (4.00, trb) can defy a 6lb raise after winning at Windsor in May and placing twice there and at Chepstow, before justifying favouritism at Leicester. She steps up to nine furlongs.
Sea Suite (3.30), trained by James Owen, can bounce back after being narrowly beaten at Sandown. The Sea The Stars gelding was second to Tryst at Yarmouth, and that form was boosted when Tryst won again at Newmarket.
