JJ Gabriel Left Out of Man Utd Squad for Wrexham Friendly

Manchester United's teenage sensation JJ Gabriel will not make his senior debut in Saturday's pre-season friendly against Wrexham in Helsinki. The 15-year-old has been left out of the 26-man squad, as confirmed by the club on Friday.

Why Gabriel Is Not Playing

Gabriel returned to Carrington for pre-season training but has not trained with the main squad. Instead, he has been working individually with coach Jack Hunter, who also trains Aston Villa defender Ian Maatsen. United manager Erik ten Hag is taking a cautious approach with the young prospect.
