Community Shield 2026: Arsenal vs Man City TV, time, stream

Arsenal and Manchester City meet in the Community Shield at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Sunday afternoon, with kick-off at 3pm. The traditional season curtain-raiser has moved to the Welsh capital because Wembley Stadium is hosting US music star The Weeknd's tour.

Title rivals and new manager

The two clubs contested the Premier League title last season, with the race decided in the penultimate match. Mikel Arteta's side won the league, while City claimed the FA Cup. City have appointed Enzo Maresca as their new manager, replacing Pep Guardiola.

Both squads are seeing players gradually return after the World Cup, but with the Premier League season approaching, intensity is expected to rise at the Principality Stadium.

TV and streaming details

The Community Shield is no longer on free-to-air television. TNT Sports holds the broadcasting rights and will show the match on TNT Sports 1 and TNT Sports Ultimate. Subscribers can also stream it live via HBO Max.

Managers' pre-match comments

Arteta said: "I think we've been able to tick a lot of boxes. Obviously, the circumstances of the World Cup and the amount of players that we had abroad have brought some constraints, but there are a lot of learnings to take and we're going to be ready for Sunday."

Maresca said: "It's important that we continue to grow and improve. I think pre-season has been good because game after game the team has improved. Now pre-season is finished we need to compete, win games and titles. What I want to see it's the right spirit, to continue to improve, the right mentality to win games and titles."
