BBC Sport and ITV have secured the rights to broadcast the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027, ensuring the tournament remains free-to-air for UK audiences. The partnership, building on previous successful collaborations, will bring every match and key moment from the global stage to millions of fans across the UK.
The tournament, featuring 32 teams, will kick off on 24 June 2027 and will be the first Women's World Cup held in South America. Sixty-four games will be played across eight host cities, with the final scheduled for Sunday 25 July.
BBC Sport will provide comprehensive live match coverage on TV and BBC iPlayer, along with digital content including real-time clips, highlights, and analysis across its website, app, and social media channels. Extensive live audio coverage will be available via BBC Radio 5 Live, 5 Sports Extra, and BBC Sounds.
ITV will deliver live match coverage on ITV1, ITV4, and ITVX, with highlights available on ITVX and social platforms. ITV will also continue to broadcast all of England's qualifying matches and friendlies, reinforcing its role as the home of the Lionesses.
