Lorena Wiebes took victory on the opening stage of this year's Tour of Britain Women, sprinting to the win in Cumbria.
Stage one finish in Cockermouth
The 27-year-old Dutch rider crossed the line first in a thrilling sprint finish, narrowly beating her rivals. The stage started and finished in Cockermouth, covering a 158.9km circuit in Cumbria.

Wiebes, riding for Team SD Worx-Protime, secured the win. Italy's Chiara Consonni finished in second place, while Great Britain's Josie Nelson claimed third.
