England manager Thomas Tuchel is set to omit three Arsenal players from his squad for this summer's World Cup finals, according to reports. The Three Lions head to North America as one of the favourites after reaching two successive European Championship finals under Gareth Southgate.
The Arsenal trio are among 11 high-profile players left out as Tuchel finalises his 23-man selection. Manchester City's Phil Foden, Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, and left-back Luke Shaw are also notable absentees.
Tuchel's squad will be announced via the Football Association's new app, with Daniel Sturridge and Theo Walcott hosting. The tournament kicks off on June 11, with England facing Croatia in their opening group match on June 17.
Other players missing out include Newcastle's Lewis Hall, AC Milan's Fikayo Tomori, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Morgan Gibbs-White, Cole Palmer, Adam Wharton, Jarrod Bowen, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
