Thuram Bros Score As Juventus Edge Inter In Epic Derby

A sensational Derby d'Italia saw seven goals, lead changes, and brothers scoring for opposing sides as Juventus beat Inter 4-3 on Saturday evening. Igor Tudor described it as a 'particular game', while others might call it 'completely bonkers'. The match featured siblings as frenemies, an English defender's first Serie A goal, and a teenage match-winner.

Lloyd Kelly opened the scoring for Juventus in the 14th minute with a side-foot finish from a Bremer volleyed cross, his first goal in Serie A. Hakan Calhanoglu equalised for Inter in the 30th minute with a first-time finish from the edge of the D. Kenan Yildiz put Juventus back in front before half-time, drilling into the bottom corner from 25 yards.

Calhanoglu levelled again in the 65th minute with a gorgeous volley on the turn. Marcus Thuram then headed Inter in front for the first time in the 76th minute from a corner. However, his younger brother Khéphren Thuram equalised with an almost identical header from a set-piece, celebrating by thumping his chest and gesturing to his surname. A late goal from a teenager secured the win for Juventus.
