Tottenham Hotspur have announced they will play a K League select side in a pre-season friendly in Seoul on 13 July. The match will take place at Seoul World Cup Stadium, marking the club's third visit to South Korea.
The fixture capitalises on Spurs' huge popularity in the country, driven largely by national team captain Son Heung-min. South Korean women's captain Cho So-hyun also plays for the London club.
Asia and Australia were regular pre-season destinations for top European clubs before the Covid-19 pandemic, with Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea drawing large crowds for lucrative friendlies.
