Chairman Daniel Levy is reportedly impressed by Frank's work at Brentford, where he took charge in October 2018 and led the club from the Championship to Premier League promotion via the playoffs in 2020-21. Brentford finished 10th this season with 56 points, solidifying their top-flight status.
Postecoglou admitted uncertainty about his future after the final match against Brighton on 25 May, and the subsequent silence from the club has not been encouraging. He has two years remaining on his contract, and any move for Frank would require compensation to Brentford and a payoff for Postecoglou.
Brentford had anticipated Frank staying for another season, meaning Spurs would need to overcome several obstacles to secure his services. The club's board is now deliberating whether to persist with Postecoglou or make a change.
