Shearer's Premier League predictions: Leeds to beat Man Utd

Alan Shearer has revealed his Premier League predictions for another stacked weekend of action, including a home win for Leeds against Manchester United and a draw at Everton for Chelsea.

Chelsea face Everton test

Shearer expects Everton to remain unbeaten, predicting a score draw at Goodison Park. He praised Chelsea's forward line of Palmer, Rogers and Joao Pedro, calling them "brilliant" and "a great watch," but remains unconvinced by their defence.

"They do concede goals, but they flew out the blocks last week, didn't they? That's what they can do to you. They can hurt you," he said.

Brentford to pile pressure on Liverpool

Shearer is backing a home win for Brentford against Liverpool, citing Keith Andrews' side's resilience and Liverpool's European commitments. "Liverpool can't afford a defeat, but I think Brentford will beat them and pile on the pressure," he said.

More predictions

Elsewhere, Shearer predicts a draw for Fulham against Hull, a Manchester City win over Ipswich, and a narrow Newcastle victory against Aston Villa. He also expects Bournemouth to beat Sunderland and Brighton to overcome Crystal Palace.

At Elland Road, Shearer has no faith in Manchester United, saying: "I think Leeds will beat them." He believes United players are still playing for Michael Carrick, but predicts a Leeds win will heap more pressure on the manager.

Shearer also fancies Arsenal to beat Nottingham Forest and Tottenham to secure a much-needed home win against Coventry.
