Morgan Rogers scored twice in the second half to secure a 2-1 comeback victory for Aston Villa against Leeds United at Elland Road. The win lifts Villa into fourth place in the Premier League table, while Leeds remain in the relegation zone after a fifth defeat in six games.
Leeds took the lead in the first half through Lukas Nmecha, who capitalised on a strong home display. However, Villa dominated after the break, with Rogers equalising early in the second half before scoring a superb free-kick in the 74th minute to complete the turnaround. The visitors' sixth win in seven games moves them into the Champions League places.
Leeds had chances to equalise, with Illan Meslier making a fine save from Pascal Struijk's header, and Dominik Calvert-Lewin having a goal ruled out for handball after a VAR review. Substitute Dan James also went close, but Villa held on for the win. Unai Emery's side now sit fourth, while Leeds remain in the bottom three.
