Rashford responded promptly to the criticism on X, insisting his post was not intended as a dig. He stated he remains a United supporter and that the message was simply to thank the clubs and coaches he had worked with over the past 18 months, who had played a significant role in his England recall.
The 28-year-old's future at Barcelona remains uncertain. The La Liga champions have not indicated a willingness to meet the £26million fee required to sign him permanently, despite his desire to stay at the Camp Nou.
