Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford has reportedly split from his long-term girlfriend Lucia Loi after eight years together. The couple, who met at school, are said to have parted ways amid the pressures of lockdown.
According to The Sun, the pair are on good terms and share a “mutual love and respect”. Lucia, a PR executive, has reportedly moved out of Rashford’s home in Manchester following the break-up.
A source told the newspaper: “After eight years together, Marcus and Lucia have made the mutual decision to part ways. It is a result of the pressures and strains of the Covid pandemic and lockdowns and the confinement that has brought with it over the last 12 months.”
The insider added that there is “a continued dialogue with the hope of a reconciliation in the future”. Rashford is said to be devastated by the split.
