Nico Raskin has been included in Rangers' Europa League squad for the third qualifying round tie against Jagiellonia Bialystok, leading fans to speculate that he may not be leaving Ibrox this summer.
The Belgian midfielder is part of Derek McInnes' 25-man pool for the clash with the Polish outfit. Rangers travel to Poland on Tuesday, knowing they will face either Larne or Sarbutalo in the playoff round should they progress.
Raskin's Future in Question
Raskin, who impressed for Belgium during the World Cup this summer, was not in the squad for Friday's 1-1 draw at Dundee United that opened the 2026/27 Premiership season. He has yet to return to training after his stint in the United States with the Red Devils, but has been widely tipped to leave Ibrox in a big-money move.
Villarreal have been linked with a £17 million swoop, while AS Roma are also thought to be keen on taking Raskin to Serie A. However, a move does not seem imminent after he was included in McInnes' group for the upcoming European tie.
Souttar Omitted
One notable absentee is John Souttar, despite Rangers' shortage of centre-backs. Ben Godfrey is facing a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, but there is still no place in the squad for Souttar. He is almost certain to leave, with Swansea City, Sheffield United, and Russell Martin's Leicester City all interested.
