The Premier League returns after the World Cup summer, with Arsenal starting their title defence at home to newly promoted Coventry City on Friday 21 August at 8pm, live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League.
Champions begin against newcomers
Arsenal ended a 22-year wait for the title in May and face the task of defending it. Their 3-0 Community Shield win over Manchester City, last season's runners-up, has already sent a warning to the rest of the league.
Chelsea begin a new era under Xabi Alonso, while Roberto De Zerbi's Tottenham have undergone a significant overhaul of their playing squad. Hull City, Coventry and Ipswich are the three newly promoted clubs.
