Paul Kent Suspended After Viral Street Fight Outside Sydney Pub

Sports journalist Paul Kent has been suspended by Fox Sports and News Corp Australia after a video surfaced showing him in a physical altercation outside a Sydney venue. The clip, widely shared on social media on Sunday, depicts a man believed to be Kent arguing with a younger man before throwing a punch and being thrown into a tree.

NSW Police have confirmed they are investigating the incident, which occurred outside Totti's in Rozelle. A spokesperson for Fox Sports and The Daily Telegraph said Kent has been stood down pending an immediate investigation.

The altercation comes just months after Kent was reinstated as co-host of NRL 360 following his acquittal on charges of assaulting his ex-girlfriend. He was found not guilty in December 2023 after a two-day hearing.

A friend visiting Kent's home on Sunday said the journalist would 'like some privacy'. Kent had previously expressed a desire to return to a 'normal life' after his acquittal.
