Ivor Pandur says Rangers must start behaving like champions if they are to win the Premiership title, and that means not letting games like Saturday night's draw against Dundee slip from their grasp.
The Croatian goalkeeper was frustrated by the manner in which Derek McInnes' side failed to capitalise on a 2-1 lead at Dens Park. Stunning goals from Badredine Bouanani and Nico Raskin had put Rangers in the driving seat against the Dark Blues.
But a mistake from captain Dan Neil allowed Callum Jones to equalise and cost the Ibrox men two precious Premiership points. They failed to grab an opportunity to go top of the table before Celtic's clash with Hearts on Sunday.
Frustration on Tayside
Pandur was not happy with the result on Tayside and says if they want to win silverware in May, they must do better. He said: "It was really frustrating. We really felt that and it's not a nice feeling, especially coming from a winning run.
"We know it's two points dropped and we're not happy about it. We're in this together and we'll have these moments in the season.
"But this is a moment where we need to show what we want to achieve. We need to understand how important these games are.
"We're aware of that. If we want to be a title-winning team we need to act and behave in that certain way. I think we're on the right path but it was a frustrating game for us."
Winning run ends
The draw at Dens ended Rangers' seven-game winning run in all competitions. It was the first time they have dropped points in the league since August.
At 2-1 up against Steven Pressley's side, they were dominant and looked certain to secure a victory. But individual errors cost them dear, with Dujon Sterling at fault for Bradley Fink's early opener.
Pandur insists they must put it behind them ahead of their next game against St Johnstone at Ibrox on Saturday. He said: "I really don't know what we can learn from that game - because it was just so frustrating.
"We had won a lot of games in a row. Even when we were not the better side, we still managed to get a win in some of those.
"We hoped Saturday would have been the same.
"It's hard to point your finger at exactly what went wrong but we'll look back at it and improve."
