Christian Norgaard has completed a move to Everton, while Arsenal are set to confirm the signing of Bruno Guimaraes.
Norgaard's Move to Everton
The midfielder, who did not play in Arsenal's pre-season defeat to Real Betis on Wednesday, leaves the Emirates after just one season, having won the Premier League with the Gunners.
Expressing his delight, Norgaard said: "It feels amazing. I'm so, so happy and pleased to have joined Everton." He cited the club's project and the influence of manager David Moyes as key factors in his decision.
Arsenal's Replacement Signing
Arsenal have already moved for a replacement, agreeing a £75 million deal with Newcastle for Guimaraes on Wednesday morning. The Brazilian is expected to undergo a medical later this week, with personal terms reportedly agreed for some time.
