Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey have become parents for the first time. The former Miss Universe, 33, and the San Francisco 49ers star, 29, announced the birth of their daughter on social media, sharing photos from the hospital. The baby's name is Colette Annalise McCaffrey.
Friends and fans flooded the comments with congratulations. One wrote: 'Welcome to the world, Colette. We will shield and protect you at all costs.' Another said: 'She is a beautiful angel.'
The couple, who met through mutual friends in June 2019, married in June 2024. Culpo revealed her pregnancy in March. In a recent interview with People, she spoke about gaining a new appreciation for her mother, Susan Curran, during her pregnancy. 'I feel like I have a lot of respect for my mom... I've needed my mom, which I didn't anticipate,' she said.
Culpo also shared her approach to parenting, saying she wants to stay 'open-minded' as she and McCaffrey navigate parenthood. She praised her husband, saying he was 'made' to be a great father. 'It is fun growing your family with someone that you really love,' she added.
