Man United to Launch New Adidas Kit on July 1 with Record Snapdragon Sponsorship

Manchester United have confirmed that their new home kit for the 2024/25 season will be unveiled on July 1, marking the start of a record £60 million-a-year sponsorship deal with Snapdragon. The away and third kits are expected to follow later in July and August.

The delay in release, compared to rivals like Manchester City and Liverpool who launched in May, is due to the Snapdragon deal only coming into effect on July 1. The new kit will be first worn in a match on July 15 against Rosenborg in Trondheim.

United's new £900 million, 10-year deal with Adidas remains in place, but Snapdragon replaces TeamViewer as the primary shirt sponsor. The previous TeamViewer deal was worth £47 million annually, making the Snapdragon partnership a significant upgrade despite the club's on-field struggles.

Last season, Marcus Rashford was the most popular name printed on shirts, followed by Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes. All three are expected to stay at Old Trafford, though speculation surrounds their futures.

At least one of the new kits is likely to be launched during United's pre-season tour of the United States, potentially centred around a match against Real Betis at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on July 31. Qualcomm, Snapdragon's parent company, is headquartered in San Diego.
