Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye this summer, with the club placing the Senegal international on their transfer shortlist. The 26-year-old has been a standout performer for the Toffees this season, scoring six league goals and providing three assists.
Former Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim previously praised Ndiaye ahead of a match between the two sides last November, describing him as an 'amazing player'. Amorim also highlighted the threat posed by Jack Grealish and Ndiaye, noting that Everton under David Moyes were a more complete team.
Ndiaye, who can play on either flank or as a number 10, is expected to feature for Senegal in a friendly against Saudi Arabia this week ahead of the 2026 World Cup. A strong performance could increase his asking price. With three years remaining on his Everton contract, he may represent a more affordable option for United compared to other targets.
United are also monitoring RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, who is valued at £86 million, and Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers, who could cost around £80 million. However, Liverpool are leading the chase for Diomande.
Meanwhile, United are close to completing their first signing of the summer, having agreed a deal with Atalanta for Brazilian midfielder Ederson. The 26-year-old is set to join for an initial £35 million, filling the void left by Casemiro. The club are also seeking at least one more midfielder, with Manuel Ugarte expected to leave after a disappointing two-year spell.
