Manchester United youngster Enzo Kana-Biyik took part in first-team training at Carrington on Tuesday. United signed Kana-Biyik on a free transfer from Le Havre last summer before sending him on loan for the season.
Loan spell at Lausanne-Sport
The young striker joined Ineos-owned Lausanne-Sport. Kana-Biyik made 26 appearances for Lausanne across all competitions, but only six of those were starts.
Kana-Biyik is expected to remain with United in the new campaign as he enters the next stage of his development, which means he will play for the Under-21s and receive first-team exposure in training.
Training with the first team
Kana-Biyik was given the chance to train with the first team on Tuesday, and he was pictured with the winning 'football tennis' team of Bryan Mbeumo, Leny Yoro, Diogo Dalot, Harry Amass and JJ Gabriel.
The Frenchman made his public United debut in the U21s' pre-season friendly against Altrincham last week. Kana-Biyik was introduced to the game at half-time and played 30 minutes on the left wing.
Pre-season progress
Kana-Biyik reported to Manchester at the start of July for the beginning of academy pre-season. He was included in the squad for the young Reds' two friendlies at the Adidas HQ in Germany last month.
It's understood that United coaches have been pleased with what they have seen from Kana-Biyik so far.
Background
The Reds signed Kana-Biyik from the prestigious Le Havre academy, which also produced Paul Pogba. The 19-year-old was given the chance to train with Le Havre's first team, but he did not make a senior debut during his time there.
He is the son of former Cameroon international Andre Kana-Biyik, who competed at two World Cups for his nation, and played in France's top flight.
