Manchester United visit Chelsea this afternoon knowing only a win will start to relieve the pressure on head coach Michael Carrick.
Many expected Carrick to be sacked this week after chastening defeats to Como and Bournemouth, but he remains at the helm with the United hierarchy affording him the chance to turn things around. A victory over Chelsea would be a good start.
Defensive reshuffle and midfield return
Senne Lammens will be in goal, as he has been for every domestic outing so far this season. Diogo Dalot should return to right-back after Leny Yoro's wobbly display there against Bournemouth last time out.
Luke Shaw is out again, so Ayden Heaven can move over to left-back. Harry Maguire should start in the middle with Lisandro Martinez partnering him.
Kobbie Mainoo is available again, and while it isn't ideal to throw him straight back in after an injury, it's a necessity right now. He can partner Carlos Baleba in the centre with Bruno Fernandes ahead of them.
Attacking options and the striker role
Amad has struggled for form of late but he could provide the spark United need on the right. On the opposite flank, Matheus Cunha has been out of favour but he has the character to step up in big games.
Bryan Mbeumo simply has to lead the line. He has done well when playing as a striker given it isn't his natural position, and with Benjamin Sesko out until January United will be relying on Mbeumo a lot over the coming months.
Predicted line-up: Lammens, Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Heaven, Mainoo, Baleba, Amad, Fernandes, Cunha, Mbeumo
