Manchester United play Leeds at Croke Park in Dublin this evening in their penultimate pre-season fixture before the Premier League season begins on August 22. The 22-man squad from Saturday's game against Paris Saint-Germain remains, with some players returning.
Team news and returning players
Karl Darlow and Benjamin Sesko have travelled to Dublin after recovering from injuries sustained at the start of pre-season. Matheus Cunha and Senne Lammens are back after missing the PSG game through illness, while Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez have returned following the World Cup. Youngsters Tynan Thompson and JJ Gabriel are also in Ireland.
Matthijs de Ligt is with the squad but will definitely not play as he continues his recovery from a back injury. Tom Heaton and Mason Mount were replaced against PSG and might not be risked, although Mount insisted he was 'all good' after the match.
Tyrone Marshall's lineup
Tyrone Marshall would start Lammens in goal if fit, with Diogo Dalot at right-back in place of Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro for Ayden Heaven, and Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw continuing. Andrey Santos starts in midfield, with Youri Tielemans given the first half and Mason Mount coming off the bench. Bruno Fernandes plays as the No.10. Bryan Mbeumo leads the line, with Amad on the right and Patrick Dorgu on the left. Shea Lacey and Cunha can get minutes off the bench.
Jack Flintham's lineup
Jack Flintham also picks Lammens in goal, with Maguire starting alongside Yoro and Heaven to help Carrick decide who partners Maguire. Mount may be fit but Flintham would not risk him, instead pairing Santos and Tielemans in midfield, with Fernandes ahead. Amad starts on the right after impressing against PSG, while Dorgu is replaced by Cunha on the left. Rashford could feature against AC Milan rather than tonight. Mbeumo leads the line, with Sesko not risked.
