Teenager Dies After Collapsing in Liverpool City Centre Apartment

An 18-year-old man has died after collapsing in a Liverpool city centre apartment, Merseyside Police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to an apartment on Bold Street at 7.45am on Sunday, May 31, following reports of concern for the teenager. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: 'We are investigating following reports a male had collapsed inside an apartment on Bold Street in Liverpool city centre. We were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service at 7.45am today, Sunday 31 May, following concern for an 18 year-old. The male was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.'

The man's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and the cause of death has not yet been determined.
