World Cup and injury updates
Ryan Gravenberch, Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak have returned following their countries' World Cup campaigns. £60m signing Jeremy Jacquet could feature after his injury; his transfer was announced a year ago but only completed in June.
Victor Munoz is still absent after Spain's World Cup success, while Cody Gakpo, Virgil van Dijk and Alexis Mac Allister are on extended breaks. Joe Gomez is unavailable after an injury picked up in the Sunderland friendly and could miss the start of the Premier League season. Stefan Bajcetic, Conor Bradley, Hugo Ekitike, Wataru Endo and Giovanni Leoni remain longer-term absentees.

Iraola has rotated significantly in both previous games, with only Giorgi Mamardashvili and Harvey Elliot starting in each. Jeremie Frimpong is likely to replace Calvin Ramsay at right-back, while Jacquet could start in central defence alongside one of Luke Chambers, Ifeanyi Ndukwe or Talla Ndiaye. Milos Kerkez, who Iraola managed at Bournemouth, is set to start at left-back ahead of Kostas Tsimikas.
Dominik Szoboszlai could partner Gravenberch in midfield, with Trey Nyoni or James McConnell also in contention. Harvey Elliot may be replaced by Wirtz, who Iraola has confirmed is available. Rio Ngumoha, the match-winner against Wrexham, should start, with Isak leading the line after a difficult debut campaign.
