According to The Athletic, Rogers is not actively seeking a move but acknowledges that this summer could be an opportune time for a new challenge. Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are also monitoring the forward, though Arsenal are considered frontrunners. Manchester United may hold an advantage as Rogers previously played under manager Michael Carrick at Middlesbrough.
Aston Villa could demand up to £100 million for Rogers, matching the fee they received from Manchester City for Jack Grealish in 2021. The player left City in 2023 seeking regular first-team football and has since impressed at Villa Park. Villa manager Unai Emery persuaded Rogers to stay last summer, but the situation may now be different.
