Kevin Costner was seen arriving at a private airport in Santa Barbara on Saturday, December 23, with two surfboards strapped to his black Ford pickup truck, according to DailyMail.com photos. The 68-year-old Yellowstone actor, dressed in shades, a black shirt, blue jeans and camel-coloured cowboy boots, unloaded his luggage and surfboards before boarding his private jet with two male friends.
The group flew off for what sources described as a two-day pre-Christmas getaway. There was no sign of singer Jewel, whom Costner has reportedly been dating in recent weeks following his divorce from Christine Baumgartner.
A woman at the scene told DailyMail.com: 'He just looked like such a movie star getting out of this big black truck and stepping onto his private plane. Everybody was like, 'Oh, look!'' She added that Costner 'looked happy and in good spirits, being able to go off with his friends for a couple days.'
The truck appeared to be a larger version of one driven by his 16-year-old son Cayden. Costner and Baumgartner finalised their divorce in September after a months-long legal battle. Friends said Baumgartner was relieved that Jewel, who has a son of her own, is 'down to earth' and not a 'gold digger.'
