Netherlands fight back late
Germany took the lead in the 32nd minute through Felix Nmecha, who pounced after a low cross from Treu. The goal came as Dutch striker Brobbey was down receiving treatment for a hamstring injury, prompting frustration from Virgil van Dijk and minor scuffles before play resumed.
The Netherlands pushed for an equaliser in the second half, with Van Dijk having a header deflected over. Substitute Ruben van Bommel, making his debut, drove forward in stoppage time and crossed for Gakpo, who hurled himself at the ball to volley home a spectacular leveller.
Portugal edge Wales
João Félix put Portugal ahead in the 22nd minute, advancing from 25 yards and seeing his shot deflect past Wales goalkeeper Ward. Cristiano Ronaldo thought he had doubled the lead in the 59th minute, sliding a finish into the far corner, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
Wales had a late chance when Johnson lifted the ball over the bar, and Koumas’ rebound was blocked by Dias. Portugal held on for a 1-0 win, with Wales producing a creditable performance despite fielding an under-strength side.

Norway beat Denmark 3-2, with Erling Haaland scoring twice, including the winner in the 74th minute. Denmark had come back from 2-0 down through goals from Damsgaard and Hojlund. Serbia fell 2-1 to Greece, who scored a 90+4-minute winner through Douvikas after Tzolis had equalised in the 74th minute.
